PFI
Overview
The PFI project aims to develop a new generation of security solutions for web-based communication protocols, utilizing low power non-silicon based memories, advanced error recovery techniques and artificial intelligence. The proposed approach departs from pure-software based cryptographic methods, providing a hybrid solution that leverages the fabrication variability of electronic devices and advanced error correction methods. The project has significant scientific and socioeconomic impact, opening up new research opportunities and enhancing security solutions in various domains. The proposed security module offers full security against physical hijacking by novel key storage, and employs ultra-low power memories to be secure against side channel attacks. A novel error correction mechanism using ternary state logic, artificial intelligence and modern coding theory resolves the problem of key generation mismatch and helps more robustly secure systems.
