Description

A two-year postdoctoral research position is available at the Intelligent Systems and Wireless Networking (IS-WiN) Lab in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The particular project focuses on various aspects of communication, networking, and AI-based decision-making in autonomous vehicle systems.

Job Duties:

Developing communication protocols for 5G- 6G- connected autonomous vehicles and AI-based methods to optimize the communication, networking and control in autonomous vehicle systems: 30%

Research on NextG networks in different areas of open RAN, network security and spectrum management: 20%

Participating in grant proposal submission: 15%

Dissemination of research progress through conference papers, journal articles, and software package: 15%

Collaboration with other groups within and beyond the institution, including interfacing with both academic partners and industry collaborators: 10%

Mentoring graduate and undergraduate student researchers: 10%
